GAME MECHANICS
A sample of keyword mechanics
AFFLICTION
Your opponent is afflicted with a value of 1. At the end of every turn, he takes damage equals to the afflicted value and then that value has 50% chance to increase by 1.
BARRIER(X)
A barrier of value (X) protects you. Damage is applied to barrier first. While it is active, effects from your opponent's attacks do not trigger nor can he disrupt your spell casting.
DOOM(X)
You apply a debuff on your opponent with a value of X. At the end of turn, the value is reduced by 1. When it reaches 0, your opponent is killed.
FROZEN(X)
Opponent can only play one card per turn for (X) turns.
INVISIBILITY
Your opponent cannot attack you with any long range attack.
KNOCKBACK
You nullify all damage from any one short range attack.
PIERCING
This attack cannot be blocked.
POISON(X)
Your opponent takes (X) damage at the end of every turn.
PRAYER
You have a higher chance of successfully playing the card if your devotion is higher.
RELOAD
You replenish your ammo. But until the end of turn, you cannot play any card.
SHALLOW GRAVE
If you were to die, there is 50% chance your life is reset to 10 instead.
STUN
Opponent cannot play any card unless he is damaged or until the end of turn.
